Dr. Karyn Labbe was born and raised in Jay, Maine. She graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Following graduation, she completed an imaging fellowship, spent time working on eventing horses in Florida and completed an internship at Cornell Ruffian Equine Specialists. She is currently finishing her equine surgery residency at the University of Georgia. Her interests are lameness, imaging, and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Labbe got interested in endurance riding later on in life. She is a fan of Australian Shepherds, backcountry skiing, and high-altitude hiking. She has one dog, an Aussie named Mattie.
